Medi-Map achieves transitional eNRMC conformance in Tas
Medication management solution Medi-Map can now be used as an e-prescribing platform for Tasmanian aged care facilities.
The solution recently reached the milestone of transitional Electronic National Residential Medication Chart (eNRMC), for both administration and prescription, with Tasmania Health for use across aged care facilities.
Greg Garratt, Medi-Map CEO, said, “The ability for Medi-Map to deliver eNRMC to our clients will further strengthen our offering in streamlining the doctor’s workflow, whilst ensuring there is a valid script for a pharmacy to supply and dispense. This is a real game changer.
“Medi-Map helps improve the supply chain process and ensures timely access to medications for residents living in aged care facilities.”
As an approved eNRMC medication management solution, aged care providers using Medi-Map can access the eNRMC grant to help with costs related to software, hardware and training. Aged care facilities can take advantage of three rounds of funding between July 2022 and December 2024, related to the adoption of the Transitional or CPv3.0 Conformant eNRMC Products in Residential Aged Care Services (RACS). The funding allocations are between $7000 and $22,000 based on eligibility and decrease with each funding round. The deadline for the first round is 30 March 2023.
