Arcare, ReadyTech partner to streamline procurement

Arcare Aged Care, aged care service provider, has signed a new partnership with Ready Contracts (powered by Open Windows) to implement its Source-to-Contract (S2C) solution.

Arcare hopes the implementation of the Source-to-Contract functionality will help to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency, ultimately saving time and money. The software will allow Arcare to centralise its procurement activities, including the management of contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring complete visibility over the entire procurement lifecycle.

“We were seeking more than just a contract management solution. Ready Contracts offered the ability to help us manage the full S2C process including sourcing, contract and supplier management as well as providing the ability to integrate with other internal critical systems,’’ said Satish Buddha, IT Project Lead at Arcare.

Arcare’s initial focus is on implementation of functionality to support and streamline its management of both contract and supplier compliance. The longer-term plan includes integration with MS Dynamics financials and use of the full breadth of Ready Contracts’ Source-to-Contract functionality to automate procurement planning, through tendering, contract and supplier relationship management.

“Providing comprehensive and cost-effective solutions for the aged and healthcare sector is extremely important to us,” said Adam McInnes, General Manager of Ready Contracts.

Arcare Procurement Manager Warren Leo said, “Visibility of supplier compliance is extremely important for aged care providers; therefore, the inclusion of an online supplier portal that will assist us in streamlining the management of supplier insurances and accreditations was a key factor.”
