ParagonCare expands portfolio with Duress safety tech
ParagonCare, a provider of healthcare technology, devices, software and consumables, has been appointed as the authorised distributor for Duress Pty Ltd, an Australian technology company that has developed a range of products designed to enhance safety and security.
“We started Duress to design and develop lifesaving technology, which is used extensively in retail, government and not for profit,” said Travis Heaven, founder of Duress.
“By partnering with ParagonCare we can now empower healthcare workers and the aged care population with our incredible tech, as well as support people and patients in many challenging work environments.”
Duress began its product range with Halo, a wearable ring device designed to support victims of domestic violence, and has since expanded its portfolio to include Falcon, Phoenix, Eagle and the Duress App. These systems are complemented by 24/7 customer support, A1 graded emergency monitoring, live audio/video, check-ins, team alerts and a dedicated dashboard for end-to-end management.
“ParagonCare acknowledges potential challenges within the healthcare sector, leading to feelings of insecurity among patients and staff. This drives our dedication to providing a solution that alleviates these concerns and streamlines healthcare delivery,” said Tiffany Chiew, GM Service and Technology at ParagonCare.
“Duress and ParagonCare jointly prioritise safety, security and privacy, facilitated by this cutting-edge technology. Our shared objectives encompass continuous innovation, developing superior products and meeting the evolving needs of our clients.”
