Applications open for ARIIA's free Innovator Training Program
Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) is inviting applications for the free Innovator Training Program (ITP).
ARIIA is offering two training options — Individual ITP and Themed ITP — as a part of Round 8 of the training program.
With workforce remaining a key issue for the sector, and services and organisations exploring ways to retain staff and ensure engagement and capability, the Themed ITP will facilitate an exploration of issues and initiatives focused on implementing innovative strategies to retain workforce. The ‘innovators’ will solve a problem within the theme of workforce retention.
The program offers participants the opportunity to be part of improving the experience and skills of their workforce. Program participants will have access to Australian resources and guidance to identify an evidence-based solution that will work for their staff.
The Individual ITP will enable participants to solve a problem that aligns with an ARIIA priority topic. It will help innovators to understand their problem, find a best-practice evidence-based solution, adapt it to their situation, plan its implementation and measure the outcome of the change. Training will be delivered via a series of self-directed learning modules, facilitated co-design workshops and small group discussions with peers and the ARIIA team.
Applications for Round 8 close Friday, 15 September 2023. More information about the program can be found here.
